Get the ProtalForge app

Open your portals from your home screen, full screen, like any other app. It's the same ProtalForge you use in the browser — same login, always up to date — so there's nothing to download from a store and nothing to update.

Android

  1. Open ProtalForge in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
  3. Tap Install app (on some phones: Add to Home screen), then Install.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open this page in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

Computer (Windows or Mac)

  1. Open ProtalForge in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a small screen with a down arrow), or open the browser menu and choose Install ProtalForge (Edge: Apps → Install this site as an app).
  3. ProtalForge opens in its own window and appears with your other apps.

Good to know

Does it work offline? You need the internet to see your data. Without it, the app shows a “You're offline” page with a button to try again.

Portals on your own domain (Pro plan) install the same way from that address — the app then uses your business name and colour.

To remove it, delete it like any other app (press and hold the icon on a phone).
